With over 11 million players, World of Warcraft has worked itself into many households. Now people that were normally not gamers are playing this MMORPG. Fans of the this great game are trying to get to the highest level as soon as possible, some gamers are using illegal power leveling services, others are just trying to do every quest in the game, and some people use guides that tell them which quests to do in which order to level to 80 in the shortest amount of time possible.

Let me be the first to ask you not to you use power leveling services. World of Warcraft is a game that’s built around many different aspects, one aspect being questing. By leveling your characters up yourself you are getting the full fill of the game, its really all about questing. There are other ways to level your character if you don’t like questing, you can grind. Grinding is just going killing mobs to gain the experience you need to level. Trust me I’ve tried this and its very boring, questing makes leveling fun and fast.

There are a few things you can do to make sure that questing is faster. The first thing to do is combine quests to save time. There are a lot of quests in WoW that have you killing the same mobs, or gathering something in an area where you have another quest. Combine these quests and do them together rather than doing one at a time. Another great way to level faster is by using rested Xp. Rested Xp is gained by being in an Inn, all you have to do is logout of the game from an inn. You’ll Xp bar will be blue for the amount of rested Xp you have.

Add-ons can make questing a lot smoother. Add-ons such as Questhelper or Carbonite will plot coordinates on your map telling you where to complete a quest, they will even give you an overhead arrow pointing you in the right direction. Map add-ons such as Cartographer will also help, it lets you plot points on your map and set up map notes. Some leveling guides have in-game guide add-ons that will tell you step-by-step what to do.

Leveling guides are a great way to level, this is actually my preferred way. I normally use Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide. I’ve used this guide a few times and love it. Leveling guides tell you which quests to do and when, they start from the first quest in the game and walk you through each quest you should do all the up to level 80. If you are looking to play Alliance and are looking for a great guide use Brian Knopp’s Alliance Leveling Guide. Its works the same way as Joana’s Guide and has a great in-game add-on.

These methods are the best way to level, I’ve tried many different ways to level and I get asked a lot which methods work, well here it is, the methods I use. From add-ons to guides this is the best way to level up.

Swamplord Musel’ek and his pet Claw

The third boss in The Underbog is Swamplord Musel’ek and his pet Claw.

Swamplord Musel’ek has four abilities that will have to be delt with by the raid. They are basic hunter abilities:

· His first ability is Aimed Shot, which hits for 200 damage if no one is in range of his melee.

· His Shoot ability inflicts damage on the target.

· His Multi-shot is just like a regular hunter’s Multi-shot except it hits everyone in the party instead of just one target.

· His Claws ability is a echoing roar that will reduce the party’s armor by 75%. He has to be tanked away from the group to avoid this.

· His Feral Charge is done on random players that Musel’ek targets.

The fight will be tanked with the main tank on Musel’ek and the off tank on Claw. Have claw tanked as far from the group as possible. Once Musel’ek is dead, burn Claw to 20%. He will change into a druid and end the fight.

Back Stalker

The last boss in The Underbog is the Back Stalker. This boss is a basic tank and DPS fight.

Have the tank aggro and hold him facing away from the raid. This protects the raid from Back Stalker’s Chain Lightning.

Periodically, a raid member will get sent into the air with Levitate. The victim will need to be identified and healed.

Hungarfen

The first boss is Hungarfen. He has two abilities, and they involve bog mushrooms. One spawns a mushroom that does 360 damage every two seconds and can stack up to five times. You must move out of this when it spawns. The second one is Foul Spores, which is an AOE poison cloud that does 400-600 poison damage every second. It also heals Hungarfen for four times that amount.

The trick to this fight is to have the tank move him out of the mushrooms until 20%, then move away during Foul Spores. Hungerfen will not move so he will not be able to heal himself. If you stay in the spore cloud he will heal himself and make it very hard to kill him.

Then, the tank can agro him when the spell is over.

Ghaz’an

The second boss in slave pens is Ghaz’an. This fight is simple if done right. He has three abilities to watch out for. His Acid Spit does 2000 nature damage to those in front of him. His Acid Breath stacks up to five times and does 2000 nature damage and 155 additional damage over five seconds. His Tail Swipe does a knock back and inflicts damage.

Have the tank aggro the hydra and drag him down the ramp. The tank should hold him against the wall because Ghaz’an’s knockback can throw the tank off the platform and into the water below. This will result in a raid wipe. The raid’s DPS should either stand back down the hall, out of melee range, or do melee while standing at his belly to avoid the tail swipe.
